Millennium House is a modern and vibrant multicultural community hub with a range of facilities that serves many needs.
Located at 296 Nicholson St, Seddon, VIC, 3011, our $7 million redevelopment addresses the growing need for culturally inclusive spaces in Melbourne’s West and surrounds, and we’re excited about the positive impact it has on the community.
Our beautiful light-filled hall and adjoining kitchen is available for hire to organisations. With event furniture and modern audio visual equipment included, our welcoming space with views to the park is an all-inclusive venue and suitable for a wide range of events.

Millennium House holds deep historical and cultural significance for Melbourne’s western suburbs and the wider Polish community in Australia.
Built during the 1960’s and opened in 1967 by the Polish Association in Kingsville, Millennium House has been the home and focal point of the Polish community in western Melbourne, while also welcoming many culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Thousands of people have gathered within its walls to celebrate milestones, community events, creating lasting memories across generations.
In 2017, the Polish Association of Kingsville and Ladies Auxiliary (PAKLA) gifted this substantial community asset to AMCS and asked that it be repurposed for the community’s future use.
With such history, Millennium House remains a significant symbol of the migrant spirit of Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. It powerfully demonstrates what can be achieved with determination, community goodwill and post-war self-reliance.
AMCS is committed to delivering on this mission and honours it for the entire community’s benefit.
The Polish Association of Kingsville and Ladies Auxiliary (PAKLA) generously gifted Millennium House to AMCS, requesting that the hub would continue to serve and strengthen the community for years to come. AMCS is proud to honour this legacy by ensuring Millennium House remains a vibrant, inclusive, and accessible community hub for all.
Through a significant renovation and redevelopment, Millennium House has been transformed into a safe, welcoming, and modern space where people can come together for connection, celebration, learning, and community activities.
This vision could not have become a reality without the generous financial support, partnership, and contributions of many organisations and supporters. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped bring Millennium House to life.
