AMCS Named National Finalist in the 2026 Ageing Australia You Are ACE! Awards

AMCS is proud to announce that we have been named a national finalist in the 2026 Ageing Australia ‘You Are ACE!’ Awards, recognised in the organisation-based Consumer Focus & Care category.

The ‘You Are ACE!’ Awards are among the most prestigious awards in Australia’s aged care sector. As the national peak body for aged care providers, Ageing Australia receives hundreds of submissions from organisations across the country each year, making finalist recognition a significant achievement.
This recognition reflects the collective efforts of the entire AMCS team over the past several years as we have navigated one of the most significant periods of change in aged care. Throughout this journey, our focus has remained steadfast: delivering high-quality, culturally responsive care and ensuring our clients remain at the centre of everything we do.

The award submission recognised AMCS’s organisation-wide commitment to supporting older people through the aged care reform journey, particularly our work in preparing for the introduction of the new Aged Care Act and the Support at Home program. It highlighted the dedication shown across every part of the organisation to make complex changes easier for our clients to understand and navigate, ensuring they continued to feel informed, supported and confident throughout the transition.

While the submission showcased a number of initiatives, at its heart it recognised something much bigger: the thousands of everyday actions taken by our team. From frontline care and client services to corporate support, leadership and operational teams, every member of AMCS has contributed to creating an organisation where consumer experience and quality care are at the heart of every decision.

AMCS Chief Executive Officer Maryanne Tadic said the recognition belongs to every member of the organisation:
