Maryanne Tadic is an experienced executive leader in Australia’s community health, aged care, and multicultural services sectors, with more than 20 years of experience driving health reform, service innovation, and community wellbeing initiatives.

As Chief Executive Officer of Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS), she leads the delivery of culturally responsive aged care and support programs across Victoria, helping diverse communities access services that meet their cultural and linguistic needs. Prior to joining AMCS, Maryanne held senior leadership roles at Merri Health, where she led major reform initiatives across community health, carer services, and aged care.

Maryanne holds a Master of Public Health, a Bachelor of Health Sciences, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. Her leadership is recognised for its focus on equity, inclusion, collaborative partnerships and improving outcomes for multicultural communities.

I come to AMCS with over 25 years of senior leadership experience across aged care, primary health, and community services. As the son of a migrant family, AMCS’s mission to support culturally diverse older Victorians resonates deeply with me — both professionally and personally. Growing up in a multicultural community shaped my leadership values of cultural humility, patience, and a genuine respect for community-led approaches, and these principles continue to guide everything I do.

Throughout my career, I have built a strong record of delivering results in complex environments, leading teams through accreditation, sector reform, workforce transformation, and the COVID-19 pandemic response. I am recognised for my integrity, sound judgment, and principled leadership, and I bring clinical, operational, and contract governance expertise to ensure high performance and quality outcomes.

I am a collaborative and people-focused leader who excels at building strong partnerships and inspiring teams to achieve their best. My leadership style combines clarity, efficiency, and expert guidance with warmth and care — creating environments where people feel supported, accountable, and motivated to deliver. Colleagues value my ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity, cutting through ambiguity to align stakeholders and drive outcomes. I am equally at ease steering operational excellence as I am mentoring individuals and fostering high-performing teams. I am honoured to serve as the first Chief Services Officer at AMCS and look forward to helping Australians from all backgrounds age with dignity, independence, and a sense of belonging.

I’m passionate about creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and able to do their best work. As Chief People Officer at AMCS, I focus on building a positive employee experience and helping our teams thrive. With experience across government, non-profit, and private sectors, I bring a broad understanding of how to support people in community services.

I care deeply about inclusivity, professional growth, and ensuring everyone feels they belong. Outside of work, I stay connected through volunteering, fostering meaningful relationships and contributing to social impact.

For me, people and culture is about connection, respect, and creating an environment where individuals and organisations can flourish. Driven by a passion for belonging and engagement, I’m motivated to make a lasting impact in people and culture, helping AMCS and its people continue to grow, connect, and make a difference.

I am a senior executive with extensive experience as Chief Operations and Chief Financial Officer, with a background spanning finance, governance, risk, operations, and organisational performance, alongside marketing, digital, and IT transformation. I thrive on aligning strategy, finance, and operations to drive both purpose and performance.

With multi-sector experience across aviation, professional services, media, technology, and not-for-profit, I bring breadth of perspective and adaptability. I am especially proud to be supporting Australian Multicultural Community Services through a period of significant change and reform in aged care, helping the organisation not just navigate complexity but thrive. Passionate about inspiring high-performing teams, I focus on building positive culture and leading transformation that delivers meaningful impact for the communities we serve.

In 2006, I started as a community volunteer with Great Connections/Leadership Victoria, helping not-for-profits on various projects. In 2008, I joined the AMCS Board and later became President until 2016. I believed my skills, knowledge, and experience could be of value, particularly in strategic planning and corporate governance.

In 2020, I was pleased to become President again. I have extensive experience in human resources, general management, career management consulting, executive and non-executive director roles, across a wide range of organisations locally and internationally.

I joined the board because my range of skills and experiences, particularly in financial and business management, can assist in delivering and broadening the range of services to our current and future clients. I have a diverse and extensive business background, spanning a broad range of industries, including IT, manufacturing, financial services, management consulting and not-for-profit. I’ve held positions in general management, CFO, and executive and non-executive director levels, for local and international organisations.

I was the President of the St Vincent de Paul Society in high school and previously on the UNICEF committee. With over 25 years’ experience in building software systems and business process engineering, I’ve worked in legal, travel, hospitality and aged care industries. I have been on the board of multiple companies and organisations and have a keen interest in corporate governance.

I hold a Bachelor of Information Technology, an Advanced Diploma Building and Construction (Management), a Diploma of Hospitality (Management) and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

I am the Chief Executive Officer of Outlook Australia, leading social enterprises and community services that create employment pathways for people with disability and people experiencing disadvantage. I have spent over 30 years in the for-purpose sector, including CEO roles with Sparkways, West Arnhem Regional Council and Masonic Care Tasmania, where I led the merger of multiple providers into a single state-wide organisation.

I currently Chair the Fair Co. and am a Non-Executive Director with Cire Services. I hold an MBA and have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Company Directors Course. I was humbled to receive the Australian HR Institute’s Lynda Gratton CEO Award for people leadership. I joined the AMCS Board to contribute strategic planning, financial and risk oversight, and a strong focus on governance and culture, supporting AMCS to deliver care, support and empowerment for Victoria’s multicultural seniors.

Narelle has been providing health, safety, wellness, quality, risk management and governance expertise to industry for over 18 years. Whilst Narelle has predominately worked in the public and private healthcare and aged care sector she has also consulted for construction, manufacturing, hospitality, agricultural and transport companies.

She is a qualified Registered Nurse and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Postgraduate Certificate in Wellness, TAE and Lead Auditor qualifications.

Narelle is passionate about advocating for residents and client preferences and enabling people to live the life they choose. She is committed to ensuring high quality care is accessible and available and systems can provide efficiencies so that there is more time to care.

Serge has nearly 20 years’ experience as a CEO and non-executive director for not-for-profit and government organisations. He brings to AMCS a record built on values-driven, inclusive leadership and strategic planning.
Serge has gained senior-level experience within a variety of sectors, including disability, mental health, community services and aged care. He currently sits on the boards of North Richmond Community Health, Windana Drug and Alcohol Recovery, and is the Chair of Tenants Victoria.
Serge is a registered psychologist and has an MBA qualification complemented by strong commercial experience. With expertise in preventative programs, social policy and advocacy, he has delivered and managed a wide variety of community-based support programs.
Serge is an Italian immigrant growing up in the northern suburbs of Melbourne and is now the primary carer for his elderly parents, who still live in the North. As a result of this lived experience, Serge is passionate about transforming the lives of migrant and elderly communities and is excited about joining the Board of AMCS.

“I am a strong advocate of the vulnerable and minority in the community through extensive volunteering and community participation.” 

Currently, I am working as a Senior Manager within an in-house legal team. My areas of legal practice include risk, regulatory, significant projects and litigation. I have extensive legal experience within private practice and government agencies. Before completing my law degree, I achieved a Bachelor of Science and Honours in physiological science.

I have served on numerous Boards and Committees, most recently on Seymour Health Board and have a particular interest in the healthcare sector. My interests outside of work include walking, swimming, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
