Connections for Wellbeing

Are you concerned about your emotional wellbeing and find it challenging to
connect with people?

Our free multicultural program is designed for you or a loved one who needs support in in building meaningful connections.

The AMCS Connections for Wellbeing program helps you to engage in social activities and learn new skills by connecting you to community groups, activities and events.

The AMCS team listens to your needs and provides personalised guidance, including in-language support if needed.
Our goal is to give you the confidence to make social connections and participate in the activities you enjoy.

Who is the program suited to?

Anyone aged 21 or older who faces emotional challenges that prevent them from enjoying activities
or learning new skills. We also welcome their carers, loved ones and family members. Together, we work to create and achieve your goals.

Tailored support and financial assistance

We provide culturally tailored support and financial assistance to suit various interests and abilities. The possibilities are endless! Here are some examples of what we can help organise for you:

Fun Group Sessions

Try something new, like dancing, yoga, tai chi or swimming.

Recreational activities

We introduce you to sports clubs and help with membership fees.

Local interest or ethnic community group

Connect with people who share your interests and cultural background

Community gardening

Join a local community garden and plant your favourite veggies, fruits and herbs.

Art and craft classes

Discover your hidden talents, from pottery and painting to knitting and whittling.

Cultural events

Take part in a cultural event and enjoy great food, music and dancing.
