Sometimes carers are too busy looking after others and they often do not have time, or make time, for themselves.
AMCS recognises that the health and wellbeing of carers is extremely important. Providing carer support through respite, supporting with service gaps, equipment, health and wellbeing and other tailored support, carers can access AMCS Carer Support Services that will ensure they receive a much needed break from their caring role.
Who are carers?
Carers are people who provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.
