On behalf of the AMCS Board, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Maryanne Tadic as the incoming CEO of AMCS, following the announcement that Elizabeth Drozd OAM, will be retiring in June.
Maryanne comes to AMCS as a highly respected Senior Executive with 20 years of experience in the Community Health sector. From her role at Merri Health, she brings extensive experience in navigating a range of government reforms including NDIS, Carers and Aged Care.
Following Maryanne’s appointment, she commented, “I am absolutely thrilled to lead an organisation such as AMCS through the next chapter of its’ journey, building on the exceptional legacy from the outgoing CEO Elizabeth Drozd, and the outstanding foundation built by an incredibly committed staff and Board. I look forward to the exciting opportunities that present as we seek to lead AMCS through its’ next iteration.”
Most recently Maryanne successfully led her organisation through a major reform by developing a unique consortia model in Victoria with six other health and welfare agencies across the state, making it one of its’ kind nationally.
Her collaborative approach is reflective of Maryanne’s passion for working with stakeholders to deliver growth, innovative models of care, and transformational change within nuanced and complex settings.
Maryanne holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree, a Master of Public Health Degree, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and holds inaugural appointments to the North-West Primary Health Network (NWPHN) Community Council, and La Trobe University Master of Public Health Advisory Committee. These are accompanied by refined skill sets in Community Based Research, Evaluation, Strategic Planning, Contemporary Governance, and a Systems Thinking approach.
Above all of this, Maryanne is driven by a deep-seated passion for equity, particularly within diverse communities, to identify and eliminate barriers for access and support, and ensure equal opportunity and participation for all. This is very much motivated by a combination of her inherent values and professional and personal experiences.
We welcome Maryanne into the AMCS team and with our combined passion and vision for improving lives through care, support and empowerment, we look forward to continuing the outstanding results that Elizabeth has achieved.
Once again, we thank Elizabeth for her dedicated service for over 20 years and we will enjoy the opportunities to work with her until her departure at the end of June.
