AMCS CEO Elizabeth Drozd is on SBS News, discussing the lack of information for aged care services. Seniors from multicultural backgrounds often do not know how to use the internet or research.
“There’s a tendency among ethnic seniors to leave asking for help until the last minute. It’s because of that ethnic pride. Normally most older persons prefer to be independent,” Ms Drozd says.
