During lockdown, phone calls and handmade cards replaced in-person visits to bring joy to elderly Victorians.
“I will try to find someone who speaks the same language and similar hobbies,” Volunteer Coordinator Milena Schaedler said. “That volunteer comes just to spend some time with that person and provide some support and listen to them.”
